Using windows 7 enterprise, MyEclipse 10.1
I installed a new plugin using the dropins folder and need to uninstall it since I want to install a later version of it.

How is this done? I couldn’t find a uninstall feature in the IDE.

I also noticed that the files I placed in the plugins folder are still there. Can I remove them? During the installation process do the jar and features files get copied over to the plugins and features folder?

    gotnoname,

To uninstall a plugin from dropins folder, you need to shut down MyEclipse and then remove all the files relating to that plugin from dropins folder.

Now, to test that the plug-ins were successfully removed you will need to start MyEclipse. Upon startup, MyEclipse will automatically check the dropins folder, add/remove any plug-ins it finds there, and report the status of the plug-ins with a dialog like this.

To install plugins using dropins folder, please follow this link :

Let us know how it works for you.
