harryajhMemberJust downloaded latest release of eclipse & myeclipse & installed i.e version 3’s
On Eclipse | preferences | Myeclipse | subscription – I put in the same subsciber name & code as in 2 but it keeps showing a dialog box firstly showing subscriber, number of licences unlimited, no maint etc… then an error message “invalid user subscription please check etc…”
Do I need different reg details for veriosn 3?
thanks

Scott AndersonParticipantHarry,
Your MyEclipse 2.x key will work fine for MyEclipse 3.x. The issue is likely an installation problem. The most common one we see is that users only download the platform version of Eclipse 3.0, rather than the full SDK. I imagine that your log file (<workspace>/.metadata/.log) has quite a few entries in it. If you could post that along with the other information we request in the Posting Guidelines thread, at the top of the forum, we’ll have some context from which to start diagnosing the issue.

Scott AndersonParticipantHarry,
From the log file, it seems your license key may be corrupt or misentered. Can you please *email* both the subscriber ID and subscription key to us at subscriptions@genuitec.com. We’ll test it internally and reissue you a new one if there’s a problem with it. Also, please reference the URL to this thread in the email so the subscriptions people will know why you’re contacting them and that I asked you to. 🙂
Thanks,
