I don’t know if Tomcat 5.5 is currently supported or not, but if not, then that as well.

FYI, with release 3.8.3, it is possible to deploy to and debug application servers that are not explicitly supported by using the Externally Launched Server deployment configuration. Full information is available in the Remote Debugging Quickstart, here:

It is also available locally in you 3.8.3 install in the MyEclipse Application Developer Guide in the Eclipse help system.I would love to see Sybase EAServer addded! This will be somewhat different kind of integration, since EAServer has non java (scripted) launch. However on a plus side, there are java classes to do all other aspects of management (including shutdown) both as a command line access and as ant tasks.

By the way, for any server we don’t directly support, you can still use it with MyEclipse through our remote debugging capability. The Remote Debugging Quickstart in the Documentation section on the website has all the details on how to do it. I was recommending myeclipse over the rational developer, but this is a can’t win battle as the project is on was 6.0.
Hopefully this hits the agenda soon.
