    Hi,
I need to know which versions of the Eclipse SDK are the several releases of MyEclipse based on.
I need this piece of information because I have to integrate MyEclipse with an external tool that supports only Eclipse 3.5.2, 3.6, 3.6.1 and 3.6.2.

    lumar ,

Can you please tell us which external tool are you trying to integrate with MyEclipse ?

MyEclipse 9.1 is based on Eclipse 3.6.1. MyEclipse 10 is based on Eclipse 3.7.1.
You can integrate the tool which is compatible with Eclipse 3.6.1 with MyEclipse 9.1

Let us know if you see any issues.

I must install the Rational Team Concert Eclipse client.
When you install it, you can choose whether to install a new, separate, Eclipse environment or to extend an existing one.
So, the customer wants to add the RTC features to their existing MyEclipse IDE.

    lumar,

I have escalated your post to dev team members. They would get back to you on this.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    lumar,

According to this link, it should be possible to install the RTC client into MyEclipse 10.0, as MyEclipse 10 is based on the classic package of eclipse 3.7. The article says this:

Note that Eclipse 3.7 (Indigo) is now available. RTC 3.0.1 does not officially support this version but you can find the pieces that must be installed in 3.7 too.

Also, this forum entry indicates that the installation was successful by using the Installation Manager option of installing the RTC client.

If you have problems with installing into release 10.0, release 9.1 is based on eclipse 3.6.1, as Swapna mentioned, which is a version supported by RTC support.
