MyEclipse Support Policies

MyEclipse is continually updated, and the latest update is supported.

Like our Eclipse base, we have moved away from separate annual release streams, to a single perpetual stream that is updated across several years and Eclipse versions. In addition, we have dropped the CI/Stable nomenclature—all our current releases are rigorously tested and are Stable.

Current supported version: MyEclipse 2025.1.0

Level of Support Provided

No matter which version of MyEclipse you use, our support team strives to provide assistance and resolve your issues without requiring you to update MyEclipse. However, for more advanced issues, we may ask you to update to the currently supported release before providing further assistance.

Updates and Patches

If it becomes necessary to provide fixes in-product, these can be released as an update to the currently supported version of MyEclipse. Simply apply the update to get the fix.

While we highly recommend using the latest version of MyEclipse, we realize that it may not always be possible to update, especially for enterprise customers. On a case-by-case basis, we may be able to provide patches for MyEclipse releases that are up to 3 years old, allowing you to continue using an older version of MyEclipse. However, this depends on the severity and complexity of the issue—for some, an update to the latest version may be the only way to get the fix.
