Several JavaScript content assist improvements are included with the new Tern.Java 0.8.0 integration. These include:

  • Completion Guess support displays a second set of proposals with probable matches based on the type of function parameter. (Learn more)
  • String completion gathers short strings in your code and suggestions include previously seen strings. (Learn more)
  • Use ECMAScript 6 to access Promise support.
  • Get access to additional JavaScript frameworks, such as Jasmine, Protractor, and snabbit.js.

When creating PhoneGap projects, your template options just increased. With the new Ionic templates, you have more than just JQuery as a project starting point.

For more Ionic UI assistance, the Visual HTML Designer gives you access to an Ionic palette, which makes it easy to add Ionic elements to your design.
