The install fired right up and completed on XP. I am now trying the installation on Vista and so far I don’t even see anything on my screen. It’s been over 5 min.

Progress dialog finally came up. Went to 3% and then to 10% and now just clocking. It’s acting like the 7.1 install did on Vista.

Ok. Finally started, but I’d like to know why the installer acts a lot differently on Vista.

Ideally the installer should not behave differently. Did you setup to the default location or did you change the location while setting up ME on vista?
