Hello, I am trying to install MyEclipse Blue 8.5 using the all in one installer for Windows. I’m on XP Professional 5.1 SP3. I downloaded the install file today (June 10, 2010); it is
“myeclipse-blue-8.5.0-win32.exe”. The file size is 847,229.

At or near the end of the installation process I get the errors below. Any ideas?

The installer file could be incomplete or corrupted. Can you verify the file size and md5sum of the installer matches that mentioned in the download site? Alternatively you can also use pulse to download the same. Mentioned below are steps to download using pulse.

1. Open pulse. If you don’t have pulse, download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com
2. Login to pulse. You can also login anonymously
3. Select “Eclipse Galileo” realm from top left hand corner dropdown
4. Expand and click on Ready to use Profiles > Popular
5. From the right hand pane, right click on MyEclipse Blue 8.5 and click on [run]
6. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps.

Joy,

I downloaded the file from the Eclipse site a second time just in case it was corrupted during the first try. I got the same results.

I’ll give the Pulse approach a try, thanks.
