    Hi,

I am trying out MyEclipse for the first time and had a couple of questions:

    1. How can I use the xml editor with xml files such as .svg or .gml
The editor seems to filter for only .xml, .xsl, tld etc

    2. How do I import an existing .war file into a MyEclipse web project. The import .zip file selection seems to be limited to .jar, .zip

    Thanks for your help

You can configure this at Window > Preferences > Workbench > File Associations

There is no war import per se since war’s won’t contain java source. The easiest way to get moving if you have existing content is to use the wizard to create a new web project and then import the various pieces of your content into the correct locations within the new project. Often the easiest way to do this is dragging from the Windows explorer and dropping the files into the appropriate Web project location.
