    Hi there. I just bought my license about 2 days ago. I have a web app built with mobione that when loaded to the iphone safari browser, it loads the site/app correctly and everything works perfectly except for the ‘add to homescreen’ prompt. The prompt does show up but when i touch it with my finger, it doesn’t go to the subsequent screen that shows the icon that will be added with the name etc.(that screen that shows the ‘add’ button at the top right of the screen). During testing of the app, it worked fine, I’d touch the add to homescreen prompt and it would then bring up the second screen where I could touch the add button and it would then add my apps icon to the homescreen. I tried to be as clear as possible to describe my problem. I hope you understood it, if not I will try to elaborate more. Thanks in advance!

    The prompt is a dialog that is not touch sensitive. It is shaped with a pointer that indicates to the button on the screen to press that will invoke the iOS mobile safari’s menu that includes the “Add to Home Screen” button.

    Thank you for responding. During testing, I probably thought I was touching the prompt when in reality my finger probably touched that button on the bottom. I’m sorry.

    Quick question: Is there any way to prolong the amount of time that prompt lasts on the screen before disappearing?

    @Danielg85

    I am not aware of a public setting for homescreen prompt display time.

    I opened an enhancement request to add this option in a future release.
