    Hi,
I have a project I need to add Ajax and Struts capabilities to. I’m using Eclipse SDK v. 3.1.2 and MyEclipse Std Edition. When I select the MyEclipse menu item the ‘Add Struts Capabilities’ is disabled and there is no ‘Add Ajax Capabilities’ menu item. How do I proceed here?

    Thanks!

    1) Is this project a web project? If you right click on it, under properties, do you see MyEclpise-Web?
    2) Have you already added Struts capabilities? If you right click on the project and go to properties again, do you see MyEclipse-Struts anywhere?

Also there are no AJAX capabilities yet, so AJAX functionality will just work for now on any web project, but debugging is only in the Pro version.

    Hi,
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. The project is just a ‘project’ type project, not a web project. What do I need to do to get the Struts plug-in to work here?

If it’s a Java Project (meaning under properties it has a “Java Build Path” field) you can simply right click on it, and go to MyEclipse then “Add Web Capabilities”, and then do that again for Struts Capabilities.
