Hi all,
I have deployed a web app that has a button you press and a pop up appears. All good until I upgraded our phones from version 4.3.3 to 6.1.3 and what happens now is the pop up appears, I press OK and it pop ups again for me to press OK.

On Mobione test it does not do this and when I compile a full standalone app it also does not do this. Only on the web version since I upgraded to version 6.1.3.

I search the forum and could not find any answers.

Any ideas?

1) What Mobione version are you using?
2) Can you share an URL to online version of your project we can try that directly on our devices?
3) Can you also share a couple screenshots?

I am using version 2.3.2 with a hotfix.

I cannot get a screen shot as it is on my mobile phone and others. It works good if I generate it as a standalone app or when I run it in the test centre. On iphone version 4.3.3 it works good, but on 6.1.3, alerts pop up twice. (on webapp)

Thanks for sharing the link to your webapp. I replicated the issue only on iOS6 using the “ID Code” button of your app – that is odd indeed.

I have sent the project to support as requested. As mentioned it did not do this on older IOS versions and works fine when I create a standalone app.

Try replacing alert() with phoneui.alert(). Please let us know the outcome.

Hi Wayne,
Tried replacing alert() with phoneui.alert() however the outcome is slightly better, ie when you press contractorID 3/4 of the time the alert comes up twice, the other 1/4 of the times it works ok.

I think we could live with the issue, however if other developers develope webapps using alerts they might be a bit annoyed by it.
