I need to type non-english characters like ç,ã,â etc and the correct way is escaping like Ç .

In dreamweaver this is automatic. So what i can do in eclipse (myeclipse) to do this work less boring ?

Please qualify “boring”, I wonder understand what you are asking. Most of us are native English speakers so we are not farmiliar with typical i18n text entry methods.

ok. My english is poor, but my problem is :

i want to type “ação” in body of jsp or html page and the tool automatically translates to “ação” as do several html authoring tools.

its boring (it guess the word is this) because this accented characters is commom in my pages.
It exists a plugin called anytool that convert this characters, but i need to type a word, select and press a shortcut, not very productive.
