My app is very large consisting of a couple hundred pages. No videos or pictures but a LOT of text. The app loads perfectly on iPhones but on every Android phone I try it on it loads VERY slowly. When you click on the icon to open the app the screen goes black for at least 10-20 seconds before the app actually opens.

Android apps load much slower than iOS apps. There is a core level upgrade in development that I believe should improve startup times on android. In the meantime we are adding Startup image support for android in the upcoming MobiOne 2.3 version.
