Hi
Having been running MyEclipse 7.0 for a while, I uninstalled MyEclipse 6.5 today and ant stopped working. When I went to Preferences – / Ant, it was looking to my deleted MyEclipse 6.5 folders.
Surely ant home entries in preferences aren’t related to workspaces – they just get set with a fresh install. Can someone explain this ? Why didn’t the MyEclipse 7 just point to its local ant home ?

Chris, all your settings are stored in the workspace. So if those settings were *ever* customized, they would override the workbench’s defaults in that case binding them to the old workspace location. Either way, it should be a quick fix of going to Window > Prefs > Ant > Runtime and hitting Restore Defaults then OK.
You might need to update the existing Ant launch configs in your workspace if they weren’t pointing to runtime defaults.
