robert65MemberOctavio, sorry I meant that I was using mobione 2.3 dev build, I downgraded last night back to the previous version and still the app crashes at the same links
, I am currently using ios 5.1.1, I can forward my files if this will help, the problem seems to be intermitent as some address (hyperlinks)work fine but others cause the app to crash.April 20, 2013 at 10:37 am #338280
robert65MemberHi Octavio, I was wondering if you have managed to look at the issue I reported, I am unable to continue with the build process as the current stage requires the input of URLs and at the moment, they keek crashing, has anyone else reported the same problem?

support-octavioMemberHi Robert,
We have tested your app but we couldn’t replicate the issue. You have stated that you are running iOS 5.1.1 right? can you share device model? Also a couple of ideas after testing your app:
-First many of denoted sites do not work even in safari mobile. Please check site in safari mobile first, before referring it in mobile app. Some of them just didn’t load (loading takes ages), some load to an empty page.
-Generated HTML/JS is really big: Can you try enabling generation of separate pages (Window/Settings/Html Generation/ Default HTML page architecture / (*) Remote Web Page; this will force M1 to create many small pages instead of a huge one.April 24, 2013 at 4:32 pm #338437
robert65MemberOctavio, can you investigate the following, I tried what you said and still the app crashed I then loaded each page seperate and tested the links and there was no crash I then put them back together on a single page and they crashed, I transferred them all to a non scrolling page and they worked fine, I think there may be an issue with the scrolling page, the problem I have that I need the page to scroll to add more locations

support-octavioMemberHi Robert,
We can replicate the crash on iphone4/ios5 but not on iphone5/ios6. Will investigate further.

robert65MemberOctavio, thanks for your continued investigation, I can also confirm the following, I updated my phone to 6.1.3 and the app still crashes, I decided to try another option by placing the hyperlinks on to a map, non scrolling and everyone opened fine, that is 2 ways that I have used on non scrolling pages and everything works fine. I then went back to the scrolling page and think that if you scroll before you press a hyperlink it works but if you don’t it crashes if that makes sence.

support-octavioMemberHi robert65,
Thanks for the update. Can you provide a small example that demonstrates this issue and we can get it to the dev team to investigate it?

robert65MemberOctavio, some examples: if you click on any hyperlinks (web urls) in the following screens
1)Accommodation Tab and click on inversnaid tab, you may see the page at the bottom trying to load with the saying “blank” followed by the crash, carry out the same tab again but before hitting the web url, scroll your finger down the screen the click on the link and it should work.
2) do the exact same again by hitting the Start to finish tab then choose the Luggage transfer tab and take the AMS Scotland Url and it will crash, then go back in but before pressing the url slide your finger down the screen and then press the hyperlink and it will work

Could you share those files you used (.mobi + custom.js file if necessary) in order to help us to isolate the issue with small sample files?
