So, you’re here! That means most likely you have run into a problem with your applet configuration in your browser! This post has details on some solutions that have helped other users get up and going!

    Mac OSX

Due to recent security constraints, the default Applet enablement in Safari may be disabled. If you run into this problem, you can typically turn it on by clicking on the ‘inactive-plugin’ on the Oracle Java Page. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4965469?start=0&tstart=0

To begin the detection and correction process, visit the Oracle Java detection page http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp and click the “Verify Java version” button. If the results show the “inactive plug-in” response, click that text to enable Java in Safari.

Other reasons on Mac can include not having Java 6 installed when using a 32-bit Browser as Java 7 only supports 64-bit.

    Windows and Linux

Make sure you have the Java Applet enabled. You can download Java from http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp.
