    Hello,
    I have created an native app for my students and published in google play.
    A few students have problems and get the following error message:

    Application Error The connection to the server was unsullessful.(file:/// android_asset/www/sksheine_android.html

    Does anyone know the cause of this error and how to fix it?

    Without knowing your project I would guess this is a file you may have forgot to add to the project, but its hard to say without more details.

    All your app files are included in the .APK that MobiOne creates and that you subsequently submit to Google Play, so I’m not sure that is the problem.
    I suggest you Google the error message because there seems to be a number of issues that can cause this error. By the results I got the most likely is a timeout problem. Maybe the people having problems loading your app have older phones with an old Android OS that takes too long to load. How big is your app maybe that’s the problem?

    Is the file in the error one you added to the project manually? or one you reference in the project?

    As stickleback said, this problem can ocurred due to different things. Please share device model and OS and a build ID if available in order to investigate the issue. Also, what’s your app’s size? does it contains many images?
