We are developing a Java/Struts application. Whenever I save a source file (for example a custom action or custom tag module) the application restarts causing me to have to wait on the restart then drill back through the application. Other developers on the project do not see this behavior. My deployment type is “Exploded”. Any ideas.

Configuration details:

Eclipse version: 3.0.0 M4 Build id: 200310101454

MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench: Version: 3.6.3 Build id: 200310201200

Tomcat 5

JDK 1.4.1_04 sun2

Can you identify any differences between:

1) The type of modifications you make vs those of your coworkers that cause your TC instance to reload the application?

2) Configuration differences between your Tomcat install and those of your coworkers?
