Just upgraded to me 3.8.0 GA & noticed some minor but annoying things

To deploy to a server I have to have the project selected in the “package explorer” window – without this “project deployments” shows the project as selected but not it’s deployments & all the buttons disabled. Interestingly there is no blank item in the “project” dropdown – sure this was there in me 2.7?

In JSP preview all I see are things like “@Scriptlet @PageDirective @IncludeDirective” – using struts 1.1 & in the previous version (2.7) you could actually see the page layed out!

Are these bugs? or something I’ve done?

Tried reinstalling from scratch including eclipse 3 but still no difference!

Please upgrade to the latest 3.8.1 release. It resolves many of the annoying behaviors that have been reported in 3.8.0.

1) The deployment dialog is now enabled when it is initialized with default values

2) The JSP Editor’s preview mode no longer depcits special characters.
