when I start websphere it cannot init.
and in the websphere directory there is only the “war” folder.
I cannot create the “ear” file.
My question is HOW TO CREATE THE “EAR” FILE by myeclipseThat’s a great question and I think we can help. We wrote a tutorial just for working with WebSphere 6. I think you’ll find it very helpful for this and other issues.

I just realized your question was for WebSphere 5.1. We also have a tutorial for that right here. However, please read the WebSphere 6 tutorial above as well as it covers project configuration in addition to the logging setup that was covered in the WebSphere 5 tutorial. The project setup requirements are the same for both.
