    Fedora Core 8:

    I am trying to run MyEclipse_6_0_1GA_E3_3_1_Installer.bin

    [root@localhost eclipse]# export LAX_DEBUG=1
    [root@localhost eclipse]# ./MyEclipse_6_0_1GA_E3_3_1_Installer.bin

    I keep getting this error:

    ========= Forking JAVA =============================================
    LAX Version = 8.0
    IAResourceBundle: create resource bundle: en
    java: xcb_xlib.c:50: xcb_xlib_unlock: Assertion `c->xlib.lock’ failed.
    Aborted

    Any ideas?

    Please make sure the size of the installer matches the size mentioned on the download page. It seems to me like the installer is corrupt. You might have to re-download the installer.
