I’m a long time coder (asp.net, javascrpt, html) and want to create an iphone app that will function like Tunein and Pandora. I like aspects of both but there are some missing functionality.

My question is, how does one go about finding music streams and incorporate those into an app using Mobione?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, how do you store info into a database with Mobione?

    Hi,

While mobione provides an audio player widget I don’t really consider it the best choice for a media centric app. We have encountered some quirks in the player on recent iOS updates that we are working to improve. Presently until we do big upgrade on the media widgets I would consider mobione as a good prototyper for a simple media centric system. But your mileage may vary depending up on how complicated your media playing requirements are, e.g. single player or multiple players on a screen.

M1 isnt the best chocie for the Music player as Octavio said, but it can be done depending on what you are doing:

On the database, there is two options depending on your needs, LocalStorage (using a key and value system) or SQLite which is closer to a true database but is device specific. If you need something like full sql database you will need a php backend to get and set data.
