When i install myeclipse of version 4 ou 5 que auto completition code in display window stop working. the only combination of eclipse and nyeclipse that works is eclipse 3.0 and myeclipse 3.
now i tried myeclipse 5.0 with eclipse 3.2 and still don´t work.
thanks.Can you clarify the problem? I am having a hard time understanding exactly what the problem is. If you mean just the autocomplete window while editing code, there is no problem there when using compatible releases of Eclipse 3.2 and MyEclipse. If you are referring to something else, can you post a screenshot to clarify?
Well, the problem is in this window of eclipse:
When you are debuging a code this window has the auto completion function (for example when you stop in a breakpoint), just like the normal java editor, but after install the myeclipse this function stop working. The only combination where the auto completition of this window worker was eclipse 3.0 with myeclipse 3. If i use only eclipse the auto completition works fine.
I just tried this with Eclipse 3.2 GA and an internal build of MyEclipse 5.0 Milestone 2 and it worked, so whatever was broken is fixed in the upcomming release it seems:
Sorry, i forgot a important information. This happen only when your are debuging a web application. I my case i´m using jboss4 and the run/stop function of myeclipse. In this situation it doesn´t works.

Yes, a Java application works fine, but a web application doesn´t.

Sorry about the delay. I confirmed the problem and already filed it. I’m waiting to follow up with the developer that will work on it after an assessment.
