Hi There,
I want to inform you that I have a big problem with 2.3.1 version.
I state that I have developed 5 apps with the 2.2 version, already on sale in the Apple app store.
I tried to develop my last two apps with the 2.3 version and I found the following problems:

1.The Start-up image never appears.

2. The “Go to URL,” Universal and native, does not work .

3. After the build, the installation on iPad2 and iPhone4S often crashes. When it happens that the program, however, manages to open, always goes in crash or it’s too slowly, it takes five minutes to open but doesn’t works.

4. I noticed, doing different builds of the same app, that the IPA file size changes every time.

After these tests, I went back to the 2.2 version and all these problems are disappeared.

I appreciate very much and it would be really useful the new multipage widget and Tab Bar for the new App that I am developing, but with all the problems of 2.3 version, I cannot use them.

What can I do? Can you help me?
In addition, I would need two features:
– Panel with Horizontal Scroll
– Slide Button to control the volume of the audio file.

It would be possible to realize?

Sorry to hear that 2.3 is a problem for you. We updated to the latest Cordova 2.2 api because of many requests and bingo – troubles.
We have a fix available late today for #2.
We would very much like to understand the issue you experience in #1 and #3 as we have not failing test cases for such issues. Would you mind sharing your project with us to investigate more deeply. Send us a zip file with all .mobi screens and additional resources as images, js files, others… to support at genuitec dot com. Use title mobione data from fabiocarraffa
We can make MobiOne 2.2 available but it is not automatically able to recognize 2.3 .mobil files. Did you make a back up (that is the default setting of mobione but we find users are blindly disabling that…)

About #1 – Start up images appears only in the beginning for just 1 second, then it disappears living a blank page.

About #2 – (The “Go to URL,” Universal and native, does not work) please, update me asap available.

Another question:
For my next app I need to build-in it the “in-app purchase”, Apple says I have to use the “StoreKit framework”.
Can you explain me what I have to do?

Hi Fabio,

Thanks for following up. We have not implemented in-app purchase frameworks yet. We have been discussing such a capability but it has not been scheduled for development. I have shared your inquiring with our team and I will update you when I know more about our plans for such a capability.

Hi Octavio,
I readed the “in-app purchase apple guideline”, they say that there are 3 way to build an in-app purchase in my app.

1- using the StoreKit.framework
2- in-app purchase directly build-in app
3- using my server to delivery contents

Excluding the first option, may I build my app with “in app purchase” with Mobione using my server or building directly “in-app purchase” build-in my app?
