What operating system and version are you running? XP

What steps did you take that resulted in the issue? Opened HTML visual designer
What application server are you using? Tomcat 5I’ve seen the notice about using the HTML designer the first time and it asking to do a Microsoft install. The notice says that you can cancel out of the install. Not in my experience. No matter how many times I cancel, the installation box pops back up. Only thing to do then is to exit Eclipse.

Don, have you clicked the “Learn More” button and read the support information. There is a way to make the installer stop coming up if you follow the steps outlined on that support page. On my local testing machine, it takes three times canceling before it stops trying to install. So something must be different about your MS installer program that is making it continue. The other option is to let the ms installer finish, but I am unsure of the impact on the designer.

Please let us know if you have any trouble on your current machine where the MS installer was allowed to finish installing.
