Breakpoint on private causes debugging to go defunct

I have discovered that MyEclipse 6.0.1-GA-200710 will suspend operation if a conditional breakpoint is set that refers to a member of an instance that is not visible from the position of the breakpoint. By suspend, I mean to say that the IDE acts as though it is trying to run but, in reality, it is idle. Moreover, when the debug is terminated, that session cannot be removed from the “Debug” view without restarting the IDE.

I stand corrected. It can be removed, but it is a little screwy. The application reports that a thread is running but the application itself is terminated. You have to select and pause the thread and then you can terminate the application and remove it.
