When you pick a Web project in MyEclipse, it creates the WebRoot folder.

Am I responsible for putting the classes directory and JSPs in that folder or does MyEclipse do it at some point?

    Thanks in advance.

    Mork,
When you create a new web project, and set the WebRoot folder (whatever you decide to name it), MyEclipse will automatically create and WEB-INF/classes dir and set it as the default output location, additionally any libraries dropped into WEB-INF/lib will be automaitcally mounted on your Build Path (default behavior, it can be turned off). Its pretty much a Set-and-go process.

    Are you having trouble now?

Well, my current hosting provider doesn’t allow “Web apps” so the deployment capability will have to wait. The “Shared Hosting” service requires that I configure the classes directory manually…

I’ve only been using MyEclipse for a few days. There is SO much in there!!!

Very cool. Hope to be up to speed in a month or so.

    Thanks for your reply. <s>
