I am having trouble when attempting to build my workspace. The validation of the project by the xml validator is extremely slow – currently at 16% after 2 hours!
I have browsed through the FAQ looking for inforamtion on this issue. The problem has been posted but I could not find the solution to it…?
Currently using Version 3.0.1Wow, that’s certainly not acceptable. If your project has some large, complex XML files or something else causing this issue then I’d suggest turning off automatic validation for XML. You can do this for the whole workspace at Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Validation. From that point forward, you can still validate a single XML file by selecting it in the Package Explorer view and selecting MyEclipse > Run validation, but they won’t be validated automatically when the workspace is rebuilt.
