I just changed the destination dir (destDir) setting of XDoclet to src-generated. jBoss*.xml and ejb-jar.xml are set to be generated in src/META-INF. Being new to MyEclipse and JBoss I would like to know, if there are any possible problems being introduced by splitting the src folder.

Just ask to be prepared and changing things now isn’t that hard then doing the change later on ;).

    Martin,

Having multiple source folders isn’t an issue and should make it easier to clear out the XDoclet generated classes if you want to for any reason. Or, at least you won’t have to look at them. 🙂

I just asked to be sure about. Tried some other IDE first and got into big trouble. And yes I just dont want them around. I dislike generated classes in my src folder. Imagen the pain of twenty classes all comin along with crazy code I dont like to look at. 😉
