I use Eclipse v3.0.0 and Workbench v3.7.2 with Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE 10g of Jdeveloper10g. I could initialized the Container in Console window, but when I deploy, I have nothing in folder C:\..\Jdeve\j2ee\home.
Myconfig in Window- Preferences menu :
Oracle AS Home Directory : C:\Jdeve\j2ee\home
Administration Password : welcome
Host:ORMI Port : mycomputer:23791Could someone help me/or point me in tthe right direction to get this to work.
ThanksYour paths look different, in that the first time you give your path:
C:\..\Jdeve\j2ee\home
Use used an elipses, and the 2nd time you didn’t:
C:\Jdeve\j2ee\home
I’m guessing this was just a typing error, but double check that your AS Home directory is set correctly. Also do you get any errors in your log file when you try and deploy your project? Do you get any errors in the deployment window when you deploy your project? Are you using a packaged or exploded deployment?
note: Your log file is here: <workspace>\.metadata\.log, please paste any exceptions you find from the last day or so into a message here for analysis.
