I try and try to deploy to JBoss 3, but the dialog keeps saying that I have to select an application server to deploy. However the “JBoss 3” entry apears in the combo box.

I am going back to use the 3.7.2 – at least it’s working 🙂

My impression is that 3.8GA is still full of bugs and is not really ready for working with. When is there a service pack due to go out? There are too many issues with HTML/JSP tags problems concering the validation MyEclipse does on and on, ignoring the fact that I had turned it off.
It looks cool and I wish I could use it, but so far 4 hours went down the drain. I will wait for the service pack.

    Thanks,

    Erez

    Erez,
This is a known bug that will be a maintenence release at the end of the week. We appologize to all our users that lost time over this release and have learned alot from this experience.

it seems the workaround is to enable more then one app server configuration, and choose the one which we want deploy our app to from drop down list.

The workaround is to actually just click the dropdown again and reselect the same app server that was already selected.
