Can’t disconnect debugger

    I am debugging on JBoss server. Why can’t I disconnect the debugger i.e. the Disconnect button is disabled.-

    System Setup ——————————-
    Operating System and version: Windows XP
    Eclipse version: 3.0.1
    Eclipse build id: 200409161125
    Fresh Eclipse install (y/n): y
    If not, was it upgraded to its current version using the update manager?
    Other installed external plugins:
    Number of plugins in the <eclipse>/plugins directory that begin with org.eclipse.pde.*: 7
    MyEclipse version: 3.8.2
    Eclipse JDK version: 1.4.2
    Application Server JDK version:
    Are there any exceptions in the Eclipse log file?

    You can’t disconnect the debugger because JBoss was launched using the server connector and is therefore under its specific control. In MyEclipse 3.8.3, available soon, we’ve added remote debugging support so you can launch JBoss externally, if you like, and still debug. With the remote connector you’ll be able to connect and disconnect to the server as many times as you like.
