I have found a couple of posts on this subject and I have looked at the help but I am running into one very large roadblock.

Everything refers to the folder “org.jboss.ide.eclipse.xdoclet.core_<version>”, and well, there is no folder that starts with “org.jboss” anywhere on my system. I am running the following config:

    MyEclipse 3.7
    Eclipse 3.0M7
    JBoss 3.2.3
    OS X 10.3.3

I just don’t understand how my installation somehow is missing a folder that exists on everyone elses.

One other question while I’m here, when I install MyEclipse it installs a MyEclipse folder that has an eclipse folder inside it. Should the eclipse program somehow be inside of the MyEclipse folder or all all the plugins and everyting supposed to be seperate from the main eclipse install?

    Thanks for the help.

    Nick,
Search for “com.genuitec.jboss.ide.eclipse.xdoclet.core”, we change the plugin directory location to avoid conflicts with the JBossIDE plugin.

    nicklovejoy,

Did you find the XDoclet directory per Riyad’s suggestion?

About the MyEclipse installation folder, here is a snippet from some ME docs.

MyEclipse conforms to the Eclipse Product Extension Architecture. This is a packaging model that allows MyEclipse to be installed outside of the core Eclipse installation and has a parallel directory structure similar to that of an Eclipse install. This approach significantly reduces the risk of corrupting your Eclipse base installation during the install process.

         ------------- | ---------------
         Base Install | Product Extension
          C:\eclipse | C:\Genuitec\MyEclipse

For more information about the Eclipse Product Extension Architecture, click http://help.eclipse.org/help21/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse.platform.doc.isv/guide/product_extension.htm

That is why a seperate eclipse directory appears under the MyEclipse installation folder.
