I’ve been developing with Eclipse 3.0.1 on Mandrake Linux. Everything has been working fine except for one thing: I can’t print anything.
The printer icon is grayed out whether I’m editing regular text or java files. The help system is usless on this, giving me such helpful hints like “If you want to print, click on the printer icon.” Thanks.
Anyone have a suggestion for how to get printing up and running?

Eclipse itself doesn’t support printing on GTK, and possibly others, as documented by this bug report on the Eclipse site:
