    Hi,
I’m using the MyEclipse for Spring. I’m seeing the following errors in the console once I startup MyEclipse:

11/22/11 11:59:16 AM EST: Unable to update index for central|http://repo1.maven.org/maven2
    11/22/11 11:59:15 AM EST: Updating index central|http://repo1.maven.org/maven2
    11/22/11 11:59:15 AM EST: Unable to download Repository[d9d714e11cb097b3ffcec91cccc65d3e|http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/.index]/nexus-maven-repository-index.properties: java.nio.channels.UnresolvedAddressException

Attached text file contains MyEclipse configuration on my machine. I’m also attaching other screenshots that show that I’m unable to connect to internet through MyEclipse.
In my environment, there’s a PAC file that’s referenced in the “Automatic Configuration Script” – “http://proxy.companyName.com:3133/proxy.pac”.

I’m trying to figure out how I can configure this in MyEclipse Network Settings.

Any help on this is highly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Sandeep Veldi

    Sandeep ,

Thank you for the details and screenshots. Please refer the image which shows- MyEclipse Configuration Center > About My Profile. This shows the sync state as disconnected. As per the details provided, it looks like you are behind proxy / firewall. You mention PAC file, please open this file and note the proxy settings and setup proxy in MyEclipse here – Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections. Next restart the IDE.

Let me know how this works for you.
