Debugging servlets on the local machine works fine.When I attach to a server over the network, debugging the same class file, the breakpoints are hit and execution halts, but I cannot examine any variables or parameters.
Code running in tomcat 4.1 on solaris 9 for failed debug. tomcat 5.0 on windows2k for successful debug. What went wrong?See this FAQ entry: http://www.myeclipseide.com/FAQ+index-myfaq-yes-id_cat-14.html#100 for what is required for proper debugging.
Also, Tomcat 4 does not support the JSR-45 spec, so while it *might* work in some cases, there is no official support for debugging under it.
