When I try to install the AJDT (AspectJ Development Tools) via the ‘Software Updates’ page using the update link ‘http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ajdt/32/update’ in MyEclipse I get the following error:

Eclipse AspectJ Development Tools (1.4.1.200611230655) requires plug-in “org.eclipse.pde.core”.

The thing is, I cannot find the required plug-in for download anywere, and the last time I installed MyEclipse and AJDT (sometime late last year) this was not an issue. So, is this a RTFM or can you help me with the required plugin?

Martin,
You need to install the PDE by going to the Callisto DIsocvery Site and selecting it, sorry for the inconvenience, this was fixed in our 5.5 All in one installer, we ship the PDE now.
