Hi all,
I’m running MyEclipse 6.5 Pulse Edition and this morning I checked for some updates, downloaded some, and restarted on the prompt to do so.
However, when I try to restart I get an error dialog that the Eclipse executable cannot find its shared libraries. I don’t see anything obvious in the configuration files and they don’t appear to have changed since it was working before the update. I ran -clean in my ini file but no change. I’ve looked on the web as well as in these forums and while a lot of people have had similar problems, none of the answers provided seem to help me. For example, one answer said that the org.eclipse.equinox.launcher… plugin was a jar file rather than a directory and so eclipse couldn’t find the dll file in it. I checked my system and the expanded directory including the dll was in place in the pulse common lib folder. There was a jar file there too, but I removed that and there was no change.
I’m currently downloading 7.0 M2 so that I can do a completely clean reinstall and for the moment I can revert to 6.0.1, but does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks!
Chris
