RCobb1MemberI just upgraded to the new 4.1 M1 release and I can no longer save anything to my UMR files. Here are the scenarios I have tried:
Upgraded 4.0 to 4.1M1 and modified a diagram in an existing 4.0 created UMR file that worked without problem in 4.0
Saved the model – did not receive any error, but, save took less than a second.
Upon exiting from Eclipse, I got an error stating that my model file was corrupt and could not be saved.
Nothing at all listed in the .log file.Clean 4.1M1 install on a new Eclipse install
Imported existing project containing 4.0 created UMR into new workspace
Same results as Upgrade aboveClean 4.1M1 install on a new Eclipse install
Created new project, new UMR, etc.
Created new diagram in new UMR
Saved the model – again, no error, but took about a second.
Exited from eclipse, no errors
Nothing at all listed in the .log file.
Basically, same results as last try.I am currently reverting back to 4.0 release to see if I still have problems.
Any ideas?
Oh, If it helps, I am running Eclipse 3.1, all most recent updates, on a Linux platform.
Thanks in advance!

Kapil KapreMemberThats odd, Can you try renaming the .umr~ to .umr and see if it contains the correct data?

RCobb1MemberThat’s the thing… the UMR was never corrupted. When I reverted back to 4.0.3, I was able to save to any of the 3 UMR files created during the steps above.
I just copied the .umr~ over the .umr (making a backup first, of course), and it worked just the same… I was able to save diagrams. I HAVE reverted back to 4.0.3, so I can’t tell you if the 4.1M1 release works or not.

Thanks for following up. We will be sure to take this issue up internally.

Gordon JacksonMemberI also am experiencing the same problem. I can not save diagrams under the 4.1 M1 release. Also tried making a brand new umr and new diagrams won’t save.
