Hi,

I’m trying to have Glassfish plugin into MyEclipse 6.0 IDE, but so far I have no luck.

I installed Glassfish / Sun Application Server PA 9 into my windows.

Then I add the Application server into my IDE.

When I run the Glassfish from my IDE, it said that it’s running (no error)
but when I tried a simple jsp, it said page not found.

Also, when I test the admin http://localhost:3851/asadmin/index.html, also doesn’t work

Do I still need to download Glassfish plugin? or I can use the Sun Application Server config?

Can anyone point me to the right direction?

What version of GlassFish are you running? Have you configured the GF connector or are you using a plugin along with MyEclipse for GF?

Glassfish version : GlassFish V2 Update Release 2 (UR2) — Distribution
and yes I have configured the connector in MyEclipse “Application Server”

here is my configuration:

Home directory: C:\Sun\AppServer
Configuration directory: C:\Sun\AppServer\config
Server name: server
Domain server: domain1
Domain directory: C:\Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1

In addition to the above:

I’m using jdk 6.0

What connector are you using? Are you using the latest Sun App Server 9.1 release or the Glassfish 2 connector for it.

Also the default port for the admin UI is:
http://localhost:4848

unless you have changed it to port 3851, you have got the wrong port.

Just try the URL above after it’s started instead of /asadmin/index.html path that you are trying.
