    Hello,

i downloaded the latest version of Ecplipse 3.1.2, JDK 1.5 and EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_4.1GA_E3.1.exe.

I installed the JDK under d:\programme\java\jdk.1.5.x something.

I set the path to the bin directory

    I decompressed ecplipse to d:\eclipse\

I can start eclipse and work with it.

But I´m not able to install MyEcplise I always get an error: Please choose another temp. install directory.

What´s wrong with d:\temp\ ? How much Space does the installation need? more than 40 Gig?

I mean there is ENOUGH space for that installation. ??

Running machine: WinXp with the latest Updates , Norton for Antivir

by the way: I didn´t find the Search Button for this forum.

    I hope someone can help.

If you read the prompts of the installer, first it asks you for the directory where Eclipse lives (D:\eclipse) then it asks you where you want to install MyEclipse (d:\temp\myeclipse). Are you sure you might not be reading the prompts wrong?
