Loyal WaterMembersprior,
Im sorry you are having issue updating the IDE. Did you setup the IDE using the All in One installer? Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.January 11, 2009 at 6:12 am #293334
frankc01aMemberHappened to me too, same error

Loyal WaterMemberWhat are the additional features/plugins that you’ll have installed along with MyEclipse?

Greg SteeleParticipantI am having the same problem with the same software:
This profile can not be resolved because required software could not be located.
Could not locate required capability: osgi.bundle/org.eclipse.equinox.weaving.aspectj 1.0.0
Could not locate required capability: osgi.bundle/org.eclipse.equinox.weaving.caching 1.0.0The only thing that I remember installing since upgrading to MyEclipse 7.0 is a Log4E plugin.

Loyal WaterMemberAre you guys behind a proxy?
January 15, 2009 at 5:09 pm #293570
Greg SteeleParticipantI’m not behind a proxy. I am on a home wireless network accessing the internet via Roadrunner (Time/Warner) ISP, so there is a firewall in my switch and some NAT going on. I also had the Windows firewall on in my laptop enabled, but I turned it off and it had no effect – the problem still occurred.
The problem looks like it’s related to “osgi.bundle/org.eclipse.equinox.weaving” (see original posting). All of the other lines in the detail log appear to be normal URLs and seem to have succeeded. The problem lines don’t have a “file://…” or “http://…” on them.
