lebelrMemberHello,
I have looked in the posts and I have not seen any subject that seemed related to my problem. This is not the first time (and possibly not the last one) but when I started MyEclipse this morning, I get the following 2 error messages:
1. The project was not built due to classpath errors (incomplete or involved in cycle).
2. Unbound classpath container: ‘com.genuitec.eclipse.j2eedt.core.J2EE13_CONTAINER’.
For some reason, the J2EE container required for the project somewhat “disappears”. It is still listed in the Java Build Path->Libraries but is not linked to any file. Worse, if I try to add another J2EE 1.3 Library set through the same dialog, nothing happens when I click the “next” button even if I remove the problematic container.
I am currently running:
Eclipse Version: 2.1.3 Build id: 200403101828
MyEclipse Version: 2.7.1 Build id: 200403241200-2.7.1-GA.Is there any way to prvent this problem from occuring again???
Thanks
Richard Lebel

Riyad KallaMemberRichard,
This is an extremely annoying situation we had where the Library Set for our J2EE libraries was getting corrupted and killed off. This was fixed, thanksfully, in the 2.8 beta 1 release.June 9, 2004 at 10:26 am #208242
Daniel LucazeauMemberHello,
I have the same problem.
And I’m not able to repair that ?I have just installed (two or three days ago) the 2.7.101 version.
The 2.8 is not yet ready ?Thanks

Riyad KallaMemberDaniel,
2.8 is not ready yet, but the version you installed is the most up to date beta release we have of the 2.8 series (beta1).If you remove the Library Set from your build path, then you can readd it to fix the problem.

Daniel LucazeauMemberHello,
I remove and re-red the library, nothing changes.
I reinstall ME-IDE, and the installer tells : V2.8 Beta-1..June 9, 2004 at 2:51 pm #208266
Daniel LucazeauMemberIn the preferences, we have to “Appliquer’ the library set and all is now good.

Riyad KallaMemberDaniel,
You have two choices, if you DO NOT need EJB support, then I suggest you remove the J2EE Library Set from your build path, and add the jsp-api.jar and servlet-api.jar JARs from your Tomcat install (or other app server install) to your build path via the “Add External JAR” functionality. This will allow you to develop against the Servlet 2.4 and JSP 2.0 specs that your app server is going to provide when the app is running. If you NEED the EJB support, then you probably need to repair (readd) the JARs to the 1.3 Library Set, you can do that by navigating to the preferences: Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > J2EE > Library Sets > J2EE 1.3, and then click the “Restore Defaults” button. Then hit OK and go back to your project and try remove and readding the Library Set again… did that work?
