I want to add a class folder to the build path, and deploy those class files with my web project. In the past, I have done this by simply placing my class files in the WEB-INF/classes folder, and adding that as a class folder in my build path. When I try to do that now, the WEB-INF/classes folder does not display in either the project view or in the folder select dialog when I try to add class folder to build path.

How do I properly add and deploy class folders in my web projects?

You cannot add the WEB-INF/classes to your biuld path because it’s already set as the output path by MYEclipse automatically, so it will already get deployed. Also you won’t see the output dir by default in the Package view, but you can see it from the navigator view.

I have set up my classes in a subfolder and added them to my build path. How do I get them to deploy in the WEB-INF/classes folder now?

Oh I’m sorry I misunderstood your post. You cannot have MyEclipse “deploy” the files *into* your classes folder. You need to copy the files into that folder, then MyEclipse will deploy them. Or you can make a JAR out of them and add them to your build path, and then setup MyEclipse to deploy the JAR.

That does answer my question. Thank you!
