Jeff MasonMemberI have downloaded what I thought was Eclipse 3.2 SDK GA, not M1 or M2, ect…. but after a couple attempts, I still get the following in the Help About and MyEclipse 5.0.1 after install will not show MyEclipse…
Version: 3.2.0
Build id: M20060629-1905Thoughts…
I can upload other information, but it appears that based on the above, my issue is the M2.
Here is my Installation Summary. I just attempted again, same results.

Riyad KallaMemberNope you have the final build of 3.2 so you are OK there, let me ask you though how you are installing MyEclipse and determining that it is there or not there? Are you making sure to install 5.0.x and also do you see a MyEclipse menu entry?

Jeff MasonMember1) I downloaded and installed Eclipse 3.2 to the root dir, c:\Eclipse3.2\eclipse
2) I executed Eclipse 3.2 to make sure it runs ok. It does.
3) I downloaded and installed MyEclipse 5.0.1 to its default directory. I located Eclipse 3.2 in the c:\Eclipse3.2\eclipse directory.
4) I executed Eclipse 3.2 and it started, saw MyEclipse plug-ins and restarted to enable them.
5) I have the following MyEclipse options, just no MyEclipse option. So according to the install manual something is wrong???:
MyEclipse Database Editor
MyEclipse Hibernate
MyEclipse Image Editor
MyEclipse J2EE Development
MyEclipse UML
MyEclipse Web 2.0September 28, 2006 at 9:25 am #259467
Riyad KallaMemberOh this is just a case of mistaken identity, MyEclipse is correctly installed, the main perspective it “MyEclipse J2EE Development”, just open that. Then depending on which specific features you use from there, MyEclipse will open the respective perspective after that.
