napgsMemberShortly after installing MyEclipse on both a WindowsXP and RH-Ent3 Linux machine, the software update feature of Eclipse has exhibited weird behavior. I can’t seem to access any update sites. Here is the output:
Network connection problems encountered during search.

Unable to access site: “http://downloads.myeclipseide.com/downloads/products/eworkbench/updates-5.0/” [Connection refused: connect]I go through a proxy server and Eclipse IS configured correctly (meaning I wasn’t having and proxy problems before). Also, my web browsers on both machines are configured for the same proxy server/port number and neither have problems establishing connections to external sites.
Any suggestions?

napgsMemberAs an addendum to this problem, I just unintalled MyEclipse on the WindowsXP machine, and now I have my connectivity back. I can reach the Callisto Discovery site. But it does not work on the Linux machine still running MyEclipse. Get the same hang-up/connection refused error.

napgsMemberAnyone?
Today my purchasing agent is supposed to order nine professional licenses of MyEclipse, but I’ve put that on hold pending the resolution of this problem. If MyEclipse has an unresolvable problem blocking access to getting updates, then we aren’t buying it.
