Hi!
I have installed MyEclipse for Eclipse 3.1 I have eclipse installed in my c:\eclipse… and followed the instructions to install MyEclipse and have successfully installed it.
Every thing is working in MyEclipse but when I click on the Database perspective. I get an error box with this message.
Problems opening perspective
‘com.genuitec.eclipse.sqlexplorer.perspectives.SQLExplorerPluginPerspective’When I goto Preferences of MyEclispe and Check the DataBase related properties, It also shows simillar error with different class name.
And there is some problem in the spring framework support libraries also I get a simillar error with that too.
On suggestion of Scott I tried to start my eclipse once with -clean option as well but that also
did not solve the problem please help me out.Loveen
It’s very likely an installation problem with an incompatible version of Eclipse / MyEclipse or some other install-related issue. Can you please post all the information we request in the [URL=http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-393.html]Posting Guidelines[/URL] thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context so we can look into it further.
I had this same problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling myEclipse did not resolve it, but when I also reinstalled eclipse it resolved the issue.
As you suggest I would try out reinstalling my eclipse as well. And will post back with the results.

Yes the subscription will work but MyEclipse is not supported on the 3.2 platform yet. We will wait until the milestones get a little more stable and then do a port, like we have done previously.
