I want to debug my webapplication with tomcat 5.5 – I dont get it running.
I can start tomcat within eclipse, but when I start the webapp in debug modus I get the errror message:
Failed to connect to remote VM. Connection Timeout!

I have some screenshots of my configuration in a *.pdf file – how can I send this to you?
Do you have a HOWTO for activating debug with tomcat server?

    best regards

    Werner,
Are you deploying and luanching the app as outlined in this document: http://www.myeclipseide.com/images/tutorials/quickstarts/webprojects/

Or are you trying to use the Run/Debug target menus like you do with a normal client app in Eclipse?
