    OK, I admit defeat

I have searched the world wide web, the newsgroups, MyEclipse help and the forums here and I can find nothing on creating a new Servlet template.

When I right click a project folder in the navigator and say new->other->web->servlet->next I want to be able to select a custom servlet template from the ‘Template to use’ dropdown list but I have failed in all my attempts to figure this out.

If I say window->preferences->MyEclipse->Files and Editors I get opportunities to create all sorts of templates but annoyingly there is no way to do the servlet template thing.

    Version: 5.1.0 GA
    Build id: 20061111-5.1.0-GA

Do I need a different (more expensive) version to do this or some ikky plug-in or have I just been spending too much time in front of my computer and it’s staring me in the face.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Cheers
    Duncan

    Don’t give up!

Check your <myeclipse install dir>\eclipse\plugins\com.genuitec.eclipse.wizards_5.1.0 directory, I believe what you want is in the templates.properties file.

    Marvelous, it works.
That will save me a great deal of time.

    Thanks
